I went on Mystic Stamp Company hoping to find a few rare stamps I’ve had in mind, but most of the ones I actually remember looking for were either unavailable or already sold. The site itself was easy to get around, and maybe I’m forgetting some of the better options I saw, but the harder-to-find stuff felt limited to me. It seems fine if you’re shopping for more common stamps, but if you’re after rarer items, I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much.

My order showed up late, and the tracking was a confusing mess. Support did reply, so I’ll give them that, but the whole thing still felt a bit dodgy. Not saying it’s a total scam or anything, but man, what a pain in the ass...

"Checkout turned into way more effort than it should’ve been"
Trying to check out was frustrating. My cart kept acting up in random ways — like items disappearing, quantities changing, the total not looking right, and then I’d go back and something else would be off. I felt like I was constantly double-checking everything, removing stuff, adding it again, refreshing the page, and hoping it would finally stick. I just wanted to place my order, but it turned into one of those annoying checkout situations where every step feels harder than it needs to be.

I tried updating my account info and it was such a headache. It kept failing no matter what I did, and when I reached out to support, they took forever to respond and didn’t really help much. Definitely one of those times where I wish I’d read the reviews first.

I reached out and waited for a response, but no one ever got back to me. The lack of communication was really frustrating and unnecessary.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just my luck, but every time I check for the newest stamps, they never seem to be in stock. It gives me the impression that new issues are really hard to find, which is frustrating...

I went into Mystic Stamp hoping to uncover a few treasures, i did find some older stamps I’d been looking for, which felt like a small victory. The selection is solid overall, but it’s not quite the grand stamp paradise I was picturing. Some country sections felt a little thin, and browsing around took more time than I expected. Still, it wasn’t a bad experience at all. I just wish there was a bit more variety in certain areas to make the search feel more rewarding.

"Helpful stamp info, but a little busy"
I’ve used a few stamp sites/books before, and this one definitely gives more background than most. I like that the descriptions include history and little details that help you understand what you’re looking at. That said, some pages feel a bit packed, and when I’m trying to compare prices side by side, it’s not always as clear as I’d like. Still, if you collect stamps, it’s a useful resource, you just have to take your time with it

Got these for my album. The pages feel sturdy, which was the main thing I cared about. Shipping wasn’t super fast or anything, but it was okay. Everything arrived fine. No real complaints.

"Return process was a mess"
I made up my mind quickly on this one. I tried to return my order and it turned into way more of a headache than it should’ve been. Replies were slow, the instructions were all over the place, and I’m still not even sure if my refund is actually happening. I wouldn’t order from them again

"Not the worst, but frustrating"
Not the worst experience overall, but definitely frustrating. I ended up getting part of my order just fine, but after I placed it, I got an email saying some of the stamps I picked weren’t actually available. I had chosen my order around those items because they looked like they were in stock on mysticstamp.com, so that was annoying. The site really needs more accurate inventory so you know what you’re actually able to buy.

I tried reaching out to customer service about my order, the whole thing was frustrating. They took way too long to get back to me, and when they finally did, it felt like they just rushed through a generic reply without actually answering my question. It shouldn’t be this hard to get simple help, and that’s on them.

"Felt like no one really had an answer"
I went in with a couple of basic questions about stamps, but the answers I got were really unclear. The staff member seemed unsure and kept falling back on “that’s just the policy” without actually explaining anything. I had to repeat myself a few times and still left without a clear answer. Maybe I caught the wrong person on the wrong day, but it was frustrating and didn’t make me feel confident in the information I was given.

I tried using the promo deal they were showing, but once I got to the cart, the price changed and the discount was barely anything. It just felt misleading, like the deal wasn’t really the deal. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

"My order ended up on backorder and..."
My order ended up on backorder and it felt like it was just sitting there forever. The updates didn’t really help either — one message made it seem like it would ship soon, then another came later and I wasn’t even sure if the timeline had changed or if I missed something. By the end, I had no idea when to actually expect it.

I was going to grab a few stamps, but once I saw the shipping cost, I just backed out. It was almost as much as the actual order, which feels ridiculous for something small. Kind of felt like they made the shipping issue my problem instead of offering a reasonable option. Not worth it for small purchases, so I probably won’t bother again...

"So, cancelling was a hassle"
so I signed up thinking it would be easy enough to manage later, but when I tried to change or cancel my subscription, it was way more confusing than I expected. I couldn’t find a clear spot to handle it, which was frustrating.
I ended up clicking around for a while and still wasn’t totally sure if the cancellation actually went through. it just made the whole experience feel unnecessarily annoying.

"Total didn’t match at checkout"
I’m not sure what happened, but the amount I was actually charged ended up being higher than the total I was shown. I thought I had checked everything before paying, so it was frustrating to see a different number go through
